**GOOD MORNING, today is Wednesday, May 18, and it is a Day 1.**

It was an incredible night with some amazing performances. And congratulations to Bella Carroll, Sarah DeGennaro, Giuliana Guarracino, Janhavi Joglekar, Maria Chambers and Paige Martino who will be moving on to the finals on Tuesday May 24 to compete for the title of Lynnfield idol 2022.*We’ll see you at the finals.*

**Congratulations to Riley Hallahan** for breaking the school record in the Javelin throw by 11 feet at 109 feet 4 inches.

**The following students earned the Seal of Biliteracy In Spanish**: Jack Dell Isola, Mary Gray, Kelsey Hodsdon, Caitlin McCormack, Francesca Minichiello, Adriana Parisi. Maria Gravini earned the Seal with distinction. **In Mandarin**Lucy Fang-Yun, and Adri Parisi also earned the Seal with Distinction**in Italian**. ***Congratulations to all these bilingual students.***

**Zachary Kazlouski has earned the State Seal of Biliteracy in Russian.** This is an awesome achievement for this bilingual student. Congratulations!

The following students have what it takes to be Lynnfield's next Idol: Emilie Bell, Bella Carroll, Mari Chambers, Sarah DeGennaro, Mary Gray, Giuliana Guarracino, Janhavi Joglekar, Paige Martino, Izzy Moschella, Spencer Ripley, Kabir Singh, Veronica Wainwright & Viola Wertz. ALSO our very own Karen Ellis & Doug Hodgkins have qualified! Congratulations to you all! The Semifinal takes place on Wednesday May 11 at 7:00PM in the Auditorium. Tickets are $5.00 at the door. Come cheer on your friends! 



Because of AP Exams, the Library Media Center will be closed on & off over the next two weeks. Please pay attention to the signs on the Library doors.

There will be an opportunity today after school at 12:00 to earn community service hours by picking up trash around the high school campus with A Healthy Lynnfield. To get involved, scan the QR code on the window of the main office. If you sign up, make sure to check your email tonight or tomorrow for updates. We will meet in front of the school.



Summer Street School is looking for some volunteers to help with this year's Kentucky Derby themed fundraiser at Alchemy Restaurant at Market Street on Friday, May 6th. They are looking to have students help with check-in/registration of guests, check-out/processing auction winners, and perhaps selling raffles. The hours would be approximately 6:30pm-10:30pm. See Mr. Bates if you are interested.
