Athletic Trainer: Clare Farrell

Clare Farrell, ATC, LAT enters her first academic year at Lynnfield as an Athletic Trainer in 2022-2023. Clare comes to Lynnfield from Ellington, CT where she was the Head Athletic Trainer at Ellington High School from 2021-2022. Clare earned her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Endicott College in 2021. Additionally, Clare is BOC certified, and holds her Massachusetts and Connecticut Board of Allied Health Professionals Athletic Training and American Red Cross licenses.

Athletic Training Room: The athletic training office is located in the basement of the high school by the locker rooms and weight room. The athletic trainer is typically at the high school from 12:30PM until the last practice of the day has ended.

ImPact Testing

ImPact Testing: Please read all instructions before beginning. The ImPact test must be completed by all student athletes and expires after two years. It is imperative that STUDENTS complete the test themselves so that accurate data is on file incase of a concussion. ImPACT testing cannot be completed on a smartphone. It can only be completed on a computer or laptop. To complete baseline testing, click on the link below and enter the customer code:

Physical Exams

Physical Exams: Student-athletes must pass a physical examination each year before participation in any sport. This must be done prior to the first tryout or practice session. No student-athlete will be issued equipment or participate in organized practice, tryout, or scheduled contest until a current physical examination form signed by a physician  has been given the Athletic Trainer, Athletic Director or school nurse. In order for a physical examination to be considered current and valid, it must have occurred within the preceding thirteen (13) months and will otherwise be considered expired. Student-athletes whose physical examination expires during a season must submit a physical examination form certifying a new physical examination prior to the expiration date of their last physical examination in order to continue participation without interruption.
